Weather: Rainy, windy (the gale storm did not come)

Today is the second day of the VBS SonWorld Adventure Park Program, and it's obvious that God listened to our prayers = ). We had 34 kids attending today, 11 more compared to yesterday (Wai Ho prayed for 35). We are expecting (and prepared) for 40 kids to come tomorrow. Please pray with us for this number.
During the Gospel Video Time today, Fiona was showing a gospel video called "The Lamb". As the kids watched the story of the fall of Adam and Eve on tv, a child was moved into tears. We are sure God moved and touched him. I was not there to see this happen, but it was really encouraging to know that kids are actually learning about the stories in the Bible, and is actually taking it to heart. I can totally see God talking to them through the stories we're presenting to them.
After VBS today, we went to the supermarket to buy wonton wrap (we're planning to cook a Chinese meal for our host family). As we were grocery shopping, we met a Chinese couple (Mr. and Mrs. Lam). They're Catholic, and they have invited us to go to a restaurant, as they will be introducing us to a few other Chinese families there. This is a great opportunity for us to invite them to come to the service on Sunday!
Today for dinner, Pastor Dick Knox and his wife came over. We had a great time having fellowship with them and we also had a great time cooking Chinese dishes for the host family.
There are a few requests on our prayer list. Please pray for the kids with us, for they all came to VBS with their own past and their own stories. We may not be able to know all their stories and care for them according to what they need, but I'm sure God's love is enough to fill all needs, and we can pray for that to happen. Also, pray for the energy level of everyone on the team, for we all need lots of energy to teach the kids and keep everything in order. We will also need prayer for the number of kids that show up, for there is always room in the church for more people to come and listen to God's words. Lastly, pray for our meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Lam tomorrow. Pray that they will have a great time chatting with the Chinese people we meet tomorrow, and that we'll have a chance to talk to them about Christianity and invite them to the church service on Sunday.
