Halftime of Life 人生下半場... “... Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matt 6:10b

Dear Friends,

Time sure has passed quickly! It is a joy for me to share with you what the Lord is leading me to do for the Halftime of my life. Let me give you a brief update of what has happened to me in the past 2 years. After I resigned in 2006 from serving as the children’s pastor and then executive pastor of Burnaby Pacific Grace (MB) church for 14 years, the Lord led me to further study at the Alliance Seminary in Hong Kong. I completed my Master of Ministry degree in June 2008.

Through a short-term mission trip to Cambodia, God has laid a burden on my heart for the spiritual needs of the Khmer people. I applied to OMF International and attended their Candidate Course in July 2008, where I was accepted for service in Cambodia. My prayer for these 2 years with OMF is to explore the Cambodia field for a confirmation of my long-term involvement in S.E. Asia. My preliminary job description in Cambodia will focus on student ministry, teaching ESL or some hospitality work, plus some percentage of time on language study. I hope to leave for Asia in early 2009.
